I need a man
Someone to take care of me; not the other way around
Someone unselfish and self sacrificing
Someone with strong arms to hold me and tell me everything will be ok
Someone caring, loving, sure of himself, and strong enough to have strength for me
Someone tall, dark, and handsome
Someone stronger than me but will not overpower me
Someone strong enough to open up to me and love me openly and not afraid of commitment
Someone not afraid to be vulnerable with me and talk about fears, hopes, dreams, and plans for the future
Someone who will not push me away when things get too sticky
Someone who will open doors for me and treat me like a woman
Someone who will leave little I Love You notes just because
Someone who will make me one of the most important people in his life
Someone who will not expect me to be his mother
Someone who will not put his friends first
Someone who will be content just watching TV on a Friday night and not think it was a waste of time because it’s the weekend
Someone who will be happy to do things with just me
Someone who will not let me walk all over them

Wrote this when I was with Waldo - my ex. We ended up breaking up because I caught him cheating on me.
